A flower, a bee, a sweet smell in the air; from a burst of light, life begins. As we form our very first thoughts, our sex, our desire, steeps with the seeds of our imagination as we slowly stir it around in our minds. In art, our everything revolves around how we touch paint or pen to paper or how we create structure to wrap and grow a world around us.
With these three artists, we see a tireless exploration connected by the various ways they literally put their touch in the work. Through gesture and pattern-making, through movement, and through growth and care each artist imbues their work with the hand, the skin, the touch.
